Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for appearing in the CTET exam. However, some states may have specific age requirements for government teaching jobs.
Note: Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to reserved categories, such as SC/ST/OBC/Differently abled.
Candidates appearing in the final year of a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Diploma in Elementary Education, etc., are provisionally admitted. Their certificate shall be valid only on passing the aforesaid Examinations, before the declaration of Exam result
CTET 2024 Exam Pattern
As per the CTET Exam Pattern 2024, there will be two papers i.e. CTET Paper 1 & CTET Paper 2.
Paper-I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V.
Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.
Note: A person who intends to teach for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both papers (Paper I and Paper II).
Note: Mathematics & Science- 30 MCQs each -60 Marks Or Social Studies/Social Science -60 MCQs -60 Marks (for Social Studies/Social Science teacher). There is no penalty for any wrong answers.
